THE STUDIO
The Seminole, Florida studio is stocked with delicate textures, luxury textiles and neutral colors. It's conveniently located in Pinellas County and easily accessible from St. Petersburg and surrounding areas.
Most of the items in my studio were sewn or created by me, an industry leader in newborn photography props. Since 2013, photographers all over the world have trusted A Wrinkle in Time to style their sessions.
AWIT is nature inspired and believes in keeping the focus on your baby with thoughtful and delicate accents you will only find in my studio. A tiny bow, soft knits, one-of-a-kind vintage lace and preserved florals create the perfect accents for your baby's first photos.

BORN WITH A LOVE OF WORDS, I ATTENDED JOURNALISM SCHOOL. HERE I REALIZED I WAS DRAWN TO TELLING THE STORIES OF EVERYDAY PEOPLE, NOT THE HEADLINERS. WHEN MY OLDEST DAUGHTER WAS BORN FOURTEEN YEARS AGO, I WANTED TO DOCUMENT EVERY MOMENT OF HER LIFE AND NOT JUST ANY PHOTOGRAPHS WOULD DO. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK OUR NEWBORN SESSION?
The second trimester is the perfect time to reserve your session. I take a limited number of due dates each month.
Do you have props or do we need to bring them?
Just bring baby! My studio has everything needed to create beautiful art featuring your baby. Most of my props have been created by me and are sought after by photographers around the world.
When do newborn sessions take place?
Newborn sessions are best in the first few weeks of life while baby is sleepiest. Two weeks old is a sweet spot for posing and allowing your baby to adjust to life outside the womb.
How long are newborn shoots?
Each session varies, but approximately two hours for sessions including parents and siblings.
