Newborn photography is a specialized art form which requires meticulous attention to detail and an intricate understanding of lighting, posing and color theory. Images must be intentionally made, not taken. Lighting, styling and safe posing work in harmony to showcase the most precious gift you will ever receive—your child.
I believe in providing impeccable quality and to do that requires time and precision, polishing each image so you can look back clearly, just as you saw with your eyes. I am here to use my extensive knowledge and 14 years experience to harness the elements of art and capture your baby in the purest form, as the unique work of art they are.

THE STUDIO
The Seminole, Florida studio is stocked with delicate textures, luxury textiles and neutral colors.
Most of the items in my studio were sewn or created by me, an industry leader in newborn photography props. Since 2013, photographers all over the world have trusted A Wrinkle in Time to style their sessions.
AWIT is nature inspired and believes in keeping the focus on your baby with thoughtful and delicate accents you won't find elsewhere. Many of my props can not be recreated. A tiny bow, one-of-a-kind vintage lace and preserved florals create the perfect accents for your baby.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK OUR NEWBORN SESSION?
The second trimester is the perfect time to reserve your session. I take a limited number of due dates each month.
Do you have props or do we need to bring them?
Just bring baby! My studio has everything needed to create beautiful art featuring your baby. Most of my props have been created by me and are sought after by photographers around the world.
When do newborn sessions take place?
Newborn sessions are best in the first few weeks of life while baby is sleepiest. Two weeks old is a sweet spot for posing and allowing your baby to adjust to life outside the womb.
How long are newborn shoots?
Each session varies, but approximately two hours for sessions including parents and siblings.
